How long did it take before you got it back in the mail? just curious! I want to start changing my name and I can't with out it so i'm anxiously waiting...

we went on our hm for 8 days and it was in our mailbox the day we returned !

I'm sooo anxious and there's so much to change! I want it to be truely official!! it may take a little longer since it is being mailed back to FL.

so next question.... how long did it take you to finish the name changing process?
First thing you should do is change your SS card that will come in 2 weeks... then change your Drivers Lic that takes 2 weeks but they give your a temp card...then you can do banks, etc...

so yes I am a little compulsive! but did any other ladies out there call the place they got their license at after the wedding to see if they in fact received it?
I did and they have not yet it just seems so odd to take more then a week for a mailing one town over not in the city.... and we've checked with the officiant and he mailed it the day after our wedding
I know I need to be patient but I'm too anxious!!

I also called the clerk to see if they got it... hahaha. (I did this b/c most girls said that they received it pretty quick, and I was at the 3 week mark).
As far as the name change procedure is going.. it s*cks! I did SS already, and DMV (although I couldn't do the registration on my cars b/c I didn't have the titles with me) and I still have the bank and all my accounts (electric, cable, etc.) to do.
