Marriage License - Did anyone go to the one on Queens Blvd? *Update*

What do we have to bring with us? I've heard girls saying that if you go in Queens, all you need is a driver's license. Is that true??

*Update* So we went and it was a lot quicker then I expected. We went around 130ish and I guess that's a really good time to go. Everyone was surprisingly friendly.. you girls scared me before! lol If you go to the one in Queens, all you need is your drivers license and money order or CC.

FH and I can't go when they first open....so we'll prob. get them when their attitude is the worst in the late afternoon. UGH.. FH will have to hold me back from turning my biatch on with them.

FH and I got our domestic partnership certificate there last year, and will be going towards the end of Sept to get our marriage license. Both are done in the same office. We waited on a very long line at the time. Not looking forward to that line again, but definitely can't wait to get our license!
They only take money orders, not cash. We did the same as a PP, ran across the street to get the money order since I couldn't get a straight answer on the exact amount (would've gotten it earlier and brought it with us).

i think they make their own rules or something; we did not have a money order, we used a CC

I just went there on August 20th and I had my driver's license and birth certificate. We paid with a credit card.

So we went and It didn't take more than 1 hour from start to finish. I guess we went at a good time.. around 130ish. All we needed was our drivers licenses and a credit card!

Does anyone know the hours or maybe a number to call? Im a teacher and wanted to know if they were open on the days we have off from school-like the jewish holidays.
