Marriage License - Did anyone go to the one on Queens Blvd? *Update*

What do we have to bring with us?
I've heard girls saying that if you go in Queens, all you need is a driver's license. Is that true??

So we went and it was a lot quicker then I expected. We went around 130ish and I guess that's a really good time to go. Everyone was surprisingly friendly.. you girls scared me before! lol If you go to the one in Queens, all you need is your drivers license and money order or CC.

I want to go there because I don't want to go crazy looking for my birth certificate also

I went to the one on queens blvd and all we used were our drivers licenses. Also they only take Money order so make sure you get a money order before you go. There are deli's across the street that sell them. I had to get off the line to go get one when i went.

nope, and thank god i asked before we went in and were still waiting in line. The line starts outside so i asked security if we can pay in cash and he said no. I had to leave to go an get it and meanwhile dh and i were first in line but obviously after we had to leave we werent anymore. Luckily there were very few couples there so not like we got screwed badly by having to leave

OMG its so true, Dh and i were like W** is wrong with some of these ppl, alot of crazy and weird ppl

one girl kept screaming 'marriage is for s*ckers look at all those losers, you all are losers' now im standing there all confused wondering what she was doing there, thought maybe she just came with somebody, uhmmm no she was getting married lol. I am not even saying this to be mean but i honestly think she was a crackhead, her and her husband

omg!
I went to the one in queens blvd, we went super early got inside no problem and it was the longest wait EVER!

It happend to be the monday where they started using a new data entry system, I was there for FOUR HOURS!!! We were so mad, they were about to tell us to go and come back later when they got the system us and running... by the time we left there was a huge line outside the building! Was quite the expierence.

We actually only used our passports and had no problems-when they finally got to us...oh but they did accept credit cards!!!

FH and I can't go when they first open....so we'll prob. get them when their attitude is the worst in the late afternoon. UGH.. FH will have to hold me back from turning my biatch on with them.
