Marriage License- different county

Hello,

I just read a post about Marriage Licenses and started to wonder where I should go to get my license.

I live in Monroe County (rochester, NY - upstate) and am getting married in Long Island- suffolk county.

Where do I get my marriage license?

anywhere in NYS. It is a state license not a specific county.
