UGH, I hate to be this person asking a question I KNOW has been answered a zillion times ... did a search and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.
FH and I are going tomorrow to get our license. We live in Queens but we are going to go to Nassau because we like parking lots Anyway, is there a form I can fill out before I go in to save some time? If so, where can I find it? Or is that just if you are going in NYC?

Not sure about Nassau but when i looked online it was only for the 5 boroughs. Theres a muni meter parking lot right by the marriage license building.

Look on the town website i think they had it on there. We went to the town of oysterbay and we were the only ones there at 9 am!!!

Yep because criminal court is by there as well so they have a huge parking lot it's muni meter though. Also if you should go in the morning. We went at 8:45am and were out like 9:15 because i did the form online as well.

We went to the one on Queens Blvd and paid for parking. We went in I think at 2:30, and we out by 4-430. The line was long, but it wasnt that bad. Try the one in Queens. Plus you can fill out the app online

Definitely try it. We were the only people on line and two other couples were already at the window being taken care of.

I think the key to the Queens courthouse is to have your paperwork filled out online already. They literally took care of us in 15 minutes. it was other issues that came up with some people that made the line longer etc know what i mean?

Yup once you have that done it's so easy. They just review your info and ask for your SS and that's that. Also don't forget to bring a money order.

when we went to babylon..we didnt fill out anything b4..they had parking and was outof there in 10 min

Nope....no form to fill out before that I know of. But if your going to Town of Hempstead, youll be in and out!!

Sorry believe it's only for NYC. I got mine in Putnam County and the Clerk typed our information and we were in and out in 15 minutes. Good Luck!

I think it depends on which one you go to. I'm pretty sure mine was just cash.
