Hello. Where did you get the info you need to go about obtaining this? TIA
p.s. I'm not getting married in a church (not sure if this makes a difference?)

this! Also, our officiant gave us some tips on what we need to do for the marriage license. You are allowed to go 60 days prior to your wedding date. He recommends to go 30 days prior just in case something happens (weather, etc.) you will still have 30 days after your wedding date. Also he said bring license, birth certificate, passport, & social security card. You only need 2 of the 4 but it is better to bring all 4 just in case there is some sort of issue. Stating the obvious- both of you need to be present. HTH.

Marriage License Info

Town of Hempstead has all the info on their web site.
60 days prior, 2 forms of ID and you both must go. Girl asked us 2-3 questions and it took longer for her to type everything.
TOH was $40 and you can pay with a check or cash.
