Marriage license q - can I get it in NYC even though I'm marrying in Nassau?

Marriage license q - can I get it in NYC even though I'm marrying in Nassau?

Is this possible?

I am SO STRESSED. FH is gonna have a tough time getting off any other day but Fridays. And I might be teaching at a camp on Fridays. UGH. My music camp is in the city, so I thought it might be doable if we get our license in the city.

Can you get a license from the city but marry in Nassau County?

no worries! you can get your license in buffalo and marry in new york--the license is a NYS license, and therefore you can marry anywhere in the state, as long as the license was obtained somewhere within NYS!
