Did anyone get their license the week of the wedding? I am OOT and may be starting a new work program in July so travel back to ny may be hard...is this a crazy idea?
as long as you dont get it the day before. It has to be at least 24 hours before bc takes that long to process and you have to wait that long after you get a marriage license in order to get married. The site i think says 24-48 hours sometimes so just do it the beginning of the week about 3-5 days before.
My wedding is in a week and I just got mine today and it was totally fine- I am also OOT. The lady just told me that I could get married exactly in 24 hours and not more than 60 days later.
