Marriage License Question

So, when do you and your witnesses actually sign the marriage license? Is it at the church after the ceremony?

We didn't have a rehearsal so ours was done before the ceremony.

Then when do the Bride and Groom sign? At the rehearsal too?

We had signed ours when we first met with our Reverand a month before the wedding.

I guess we were disorganized - our minister was searching the cocktail hour high and low for my sister to sign ours - LOL

We signed the license at Town Hall, in front of the clerk.
Our Witnesses signed the license at the rehearsal.
