It just occurred to me that this Sunday is our 60 day mark - which means that we can go for our marriage license starting next week
Did anyone go to get theirs in Suffolk County somewhere? FH and I are both in Centereach. And what do we need to bring, again?? Thanks!!

Re: Marriage License Question
You go by bald hill. By the Allstate building. There are signs. Thats where town hall is. when you go in the doors its to your right. You need your original birth certificate, with the raised seal or your original baptismal certificate, lisencse. And of course cash to pay. lol.Have fun!

Re: Marriage License Question
We went to the town hall in Smithtown, on Main Street. Bring your lisence, and your SS card. If you do not have your SS card, you must bring something with your Ss number on it. I brought my tax paperwork it was on there. Or if your paystub has it on there, or check your insurance card.

Re: Marriage License Question
we went to Smithtown Town Hall on Friday b/c that's where we had our first kiss, so it came full circle!!!!
We brought our Birth Cert, SS Card, and License. Those are the 3 documents they told me we MUST bring.

Uh oh - I hope that FH knows where his original birth certificate is!!! We can't use a passport or something instead, huh?
