I can't find FH's birth certificate, we have passports, pay stubs, driver's license, any way around this? Did you guys all bring birth certificates?

you can use his baptismal record....you will need proof of age, maybe try to get a copy of the BC!

we got ours in queens and all you need is a drivers license at the NYC locations. I know in LI most places ask for birth certificate, although im sure some places might not.

We're getting ours in Queens for that very reason. Our mothers can't find our BC's with the raised seal.
We plan on going the day after Thanksgiving...hopefully it won't be too crowded then.

Where are you getting your license ? Check the website and see what that town requires. You can also go and get a new birth certificate for FH in the town he was born in.

I've been looking all over on line and it says for NYC for some reason that we do not need birth certs!?!
ALSO: I need to ask you girls another question. MONEY ORDERS! I had heard it's cash! The web sites say to bring a $35 money order!
