How far in advance can we get a marriage license? Are there any formal requirements regarding that? or religious ones? I am getting married in August, but we want our license to be from a different municipality and we would be there in April. Could I get my marriage license in April or is that too early?

No earlier than 60 days before your wedding, but no later than 24 hours before.
