marriage license UPDATE: added link to website

this may be a stupid question but are you taking off the day from work to get your marriage license or going to work late or leaving early??

just trying to get an idea of what i should do.

When I get mine, I want to go with FH and we're going to take the day off and enjoy it!

It's all part of the wedding building experience for me

No they are not open on weekends

& they have the weirdest hours during the week. the one in New York City is open from 8:30-3:45. & i am sure they have a lunch break too.

Christine... which one are you going to and when? does it have to be in our county? could we go to SI because I know its much quicker there

We went and it took 15 mins. FH and I got to work before 10am. It really is a very quick and easy process.

I know unless I have other things to accomplish that day I don't like to take a whole day for something that takes such a short time.

To my knowledge it has to be in the state you are getting married. So you are good to go!!!
