Marriage License--Westbury

Hi All,

I'm a Jersey girl and don't know much about Long Island. I recall reading on here that the town of Westbury doesn't have its own town hall to get the license--we need to go to North Hempstead. Is that true, or is there another town we need to go to?

I didn't find the Nassau County's website all that helpful, because I don't know what towns surround Westbury.

You can actually go to any town hall to get it done. I got married in the Town of Brookhaven, and I got my marriage license in the Town of Oyster Bay (two different parts of the island).

You could try to contact someone at town any town hall on the island, but they tend to be as usefull as a turd!

Make sure you bring your birth certificate with raised seal and your drivers license.
My friend went with a passport and drivers license and they wouldn't give it to her.
