Marriage License.....No clue...

Hello ladies,

My wedding is in May. When should FH & I obtain our marriage license? After we apply, is there a waiting period for the marriage license to be in effect? Also, is there expiration time after I apply? My friend told me there's a 60 day expiration period. What is this? Please help. I have no clue when it comes to this subject.

a marriage license expires in 60 days, most people go about a month before and I think it takes 24 hours to go into affect.

I know our priest said not to go the day before bc it takes a couple of days for them to file the paperwork.

You marriage license is valid for 60 days. I recommend you go a month before your wedding... Good Luck!!
