Marriage Liscence

Well the time has come, unbelievable as it is....Danielle and I have to get our Marriage Liscence.

I looked on the town of Hempstead Website, and I found all the information about what I need to bring and stuff, but my question is Do I need to make an appointment or Can Danielle and I just show up there?

We have to bring our birth certificates, drivers liscence and a $40 check, money order or $40 in cash. Which should I bring?

Am I missing anything?

Scott, we just showed up. But it was early like 10am.

We didn't wait that long, 5 -10 minutes perhaps. You fill out a form, sit for a bit and someone takes you to their office/cubby and inputs the information while you sit with her so she makes sure she's getting it all correct.

Relatively painless.
