Hi! when u go to get your marriage liscense, do they give it to you then, or does it take a few weeks to come back.. Thanks!

If you ask your officiant you can usually get a photocopy that day. The officiant keeps the original to mail in and you will get a certified license in the mail a couple of weeks later.
