MARRIED AT 9 sad story

Am I the only one who thinks this is wrong?

Is this what we are teaching young children?
That if you are dying you can get married at any age?

Aren't there other ways to celebrate her life and to show everyone how strong she is?

i thought it was odd. but I don't technically think she is married. I think she just wanted to be a bride.

Alot of young girls fantasize about their wedding days, and for this young girl she will never be old enough to have one. So, her parents let her be a bride for a day. it's not like she is going to be living with the groom or consumating the marriage.

I think in a case like this, there is no black and white. This was a dying girl's wish, and I don't think anyone would have forgiven themselves if they had denied her.

the one thing that makes me maad about this is that doctors are telling this girl that she only has a few weeks to live...im sorry, but NO ONE can tell someone how long they have to live... people are told all the time that they are only going to live a few more weeks but then they live 20 more years... i hate when doctors do that..
