i was ready by about 7:30 a.m. that day--ceremony was at 11:00 a.m. (pics with DH at 9am)
i wouldn't worry too much--since for 45 min. you will be sitting in a car that is climate controlled and you aren't moving around or anything---so you can relax during that time so you being ready so early won't be bad at all!

I will be ready 5 hours beforehand. I figure someone is always going to run late so there's a bit of a cushion for lateness.

My hair and makeup were done at 12:30 and my ceremony was at 4. It was also only 15 minutes away. I felt like that was a good amount of time. Any more than that and I would have been antsy! It was also incredibly hot on my wedding day. HTH

my hair and make up were done at 12:00 and my ceremony was at 6:00pm. and the place was not so close to my house so we have a drive. i have to say having all that down time in between my hair and make up lasted threw the night. i was so scared i was going to look horrible by the time the ceremony came and by the time cake cutting came but it held up really good!!!!

My cermony started at 11:30 am.
I got to the RH where the ceremony was at around 9:15. We were taking pics by 9:50am.
Then about 1/2 hour later DH & I saw each other for the first time.
I had to put my dress on at the RH when I got there.

no way! I like my sleep
I woke up at abour 6:45am, quickly showered, picked up my MOH by 7:15, and went to get hair done.
I was back home by 840, and did my make-up & got dressed by 9:15. Pictures outside the church by 10AM, and ceremony began at 11.
It all worked out perfectly

I think I'll be ready about 5 or 6 hours before the ceremony. I have yet to finalize my timeline. It's so frustrating.

My Ceremony starts at 12:30PM. Hopefully I'll be ready by 10AM, arrive at the RH the latest is 10:30, do a tea ceremony and take pix at 11am (that's if everything goes accordingly).

I need to figure out my timeline as well. I'm starting with my hair gal and see how long it will take to get it done. This way I can plan the rest of the day.

Re: ~married brides & those taking pictures before ceremony
Our ceremony starts at noon, and we'll be taking pictures before the ceremony about 5 minutes from the RH. According to my photographer, I need to have my makeup & hair done by 7:30am, and we all need to be ready to leave the house by 8:30am (this is to be able to get to the RH by 11:15am, before any guests arrive). It is going to be a very early morning

Yeah this sounds like how my 'plan' for the day will be.

Re: ~married brides & those taking pictures before ceremony
I'll be done by 11 with pics with my fam and BMs at my mom's... then off to pics at Planting Fields by 1 for an hour and a half... and then off to the church by 230 for a 3pm reception... i
f you get your makeup done that early, you probably won't look as 'fresh'... and if you're getting pics done later on - make sure the Makeup Artist (that's if you're having one) shows a reliable (and capable) BM how to reapply if necessary OR you can probably hire your makeup artist for day up until the ceremony. (Some usually have package deals like 1400 for the initial application for you and your BMs and touch-ups throughout the day for you)

My hair was done by 11 am and my makeup was done by 1. Our reception was not over until 12:30am and my makeup was still great by the time I went to bed. I am sure 6 hours later, it will still look good if you have a skilled professional.
