I think it's the most insulting thing I have ever seen. I am so sick of Fox spitting on the sanctity of marriage.

DH and I said we aren't going to watch it last night but we have to say we kept flipping back and forth out of curiousity. It is pathetic but funny.

I am a reality show junkie, but even I couldn't even watch it. And If I couldn't watch it, it must be REALLY bad!!!

Re: married by america . . .

A friend of mine (I know, I know, I keep seeming to be really connected with these dayum reality shows) is good friends with that girl Billie Jeanne (one of the 'singles' - she is a bartender at Sutton Place on Second Ave at 54th-ish) and he said she is totally nuts. Bananas, crazy, insane, wild. Definitely not the settling down type. I said 'Bananas how? Bananas fun crazy or bananas legitmately psycho?' He goes 'Psycho.'

LOL!
I'm glad they drilled that stupid Denise L. chick. Dumb-a$$ should never have presented herself as single on national TV if she wasn't.

And I agree the whole thing is ridiculous.

Rach - I heard similar about Billy Jean - Lou knows someone who she dated. (Lou actually got free drinks from her one night when he went out with his friend...so I guess that is a little bit why we watch.)

Re: married by america . . .

I knew that Billie Jean looked familiar, thats why!! She does seem a little free spirited I find it so funny that they said the show last night was 'live' but at the end they showed clips of all the couples together at the resort days later. THat some live TV!! I felt bad for those people though, they all looked shell-shocked, like they thought this was a joke until they actually had to go through with it. FH thinks they are all in it for the prize money, he was lauging at me when I said, you never know, it could be for the romance (yeah, right)

I know Billy Jean's roomate (he was one of the judges on her panel choosing the guys). I hear she is nuts.
