Married Girls: Can you post a pic of your DH in his tux?

Original post by TrueLoveIn2008

I am pretty sure I am on the way to changing my FH's mind about wearing a bowtie. I want him to wear a vest and regular tie. We might compromise on the vest and bowtie thing.

Can you girls whose husbands wore vests post pics of them from your wedding? I want to be able to notebook this page and show him all the pics so we can hopefully come to a decision.

TIA!

That's the thing - they pull it off because they are at the emmys!! And that's all Matt sees - he never sees guys in tuxes otherwise. Again, it looks nice, yes. But not like a groom.

I answered your FM too but I'll post here in case anyone else is interested--they're actually from MW Tux--the vest is called the Rio I believe. Also, after reading the rest of your posts, just an FYI that you can rent JUST the vest and tie at MW Tux as well, my dad and dh's dad did that b/c they owned tuxes, I think it was like $20 or in that range Here's my dad in his tux as well (charcoal of the same vest--DH had white, BM/GM had platinum, Dads in charcoal):

My DH wore the bowtie and the vest and even though I really was set on him having a real tie, I have to say he was looking sharp as were the groomsmen and his dad. There's quite a few wedding photos in my review and also my albums you can show your FH.

So I must have missed this post! I am having the same discussion about the bowtie thing RIGHT NOW! We are getting chocolate tuxes and I just CANNOT wrap my head around a chocolate bowtie. It's so hard to find pics and I do want him to be happy but I'm just not into to bow tie thing. PLEASE post pics of tuxes with bowties!

Thanks!
