I was so convinced we weren't going to b/c the wedding ended at 1:00am didnt' get home until 2:00am..then when I went into the bedroom I saw the he put candles flowers around the room and rose petals on the bed and floor.. I had to give it up to him for that!!!

Yes! But we had a daytime wedding, afternoon reception and no after party. We scheduled everything so that we could relax and enjoy our time as a married couple.

we didn't get home until after 2am and we were sooo tired. we stayed at our new apartment, so we went to bed and in the AM woke up, took showers and...well you know. I liked it because we were well rested and got to shower and had to time to enjoy it and just relax in bed afterwards enjoying each others company.

That was DH's goal but there were just too many things going on!!!

But I must add, DH & I got in twice before we finally passed out!

yes you're tired- its a LONG day, but this falls into that category of- MAN UP!

ITS YOUR WEDDING NIGHT!!! In old traditions, you would have to consumate before you went into the reception

wow...I thought a lot more people did it on their wedding night but it looks like it's pretty divided. Although I do think that statistics would change a bit if you and your husband were virgins on your wedding night, or at least it had been a LONG while....

ahahahaha!!! That's gonna be my answer too!! No way in hell it's not gonna happen! If I'm too tired, that's why alcohol was invented - and I'm sure FH will have NOOOO problem pouring me a few drinks

thats exactly what my FH was saying when he saw the EXTRA private room we get (connected to, but closed off from the rest of the bridal suite where the Bridal Party will be). I told him it would take wayyyyy too long to undo everything and then get get it all back together. We'd end up missing almost half the night... and everyone would know exactly why HAHAHAHA!!

I'm happy to see all the hell yeah's! I'm worried I'm going to fall asleep in my gown on a chair and not even realize that our wedding night passed us by until the sun comes up the next day
