I would allow an hour for your hair and an hour for your makeup. For the girls I would allow a half hour for makeup and an hour for hair. We started at 8am but I had 2 hair girls and 1 makeup girl... we were ready by 11:30. HTH

My girls came 45 min late, so maybe tell them a little earlier even than you need them just in case!

I'm getting married next week. There are 7 girls getting hair done, 5 getting makeup done. My wedding starts at 2pm. I was told my hair would take two hours. We are starting at 6am. SO since yours is much later than mine, that sounds veryyyy early!

i am starting pics at 11:30ish - then i'll see FH at 12:30 - then we take pics alone at the hotel, then pics alone at JT starting at around 2 - then our parents and bridal party come i think around 4 - and we'll finish up around 5 - our ceremony is at 6pm - i felt like i would be in hair and make up for a really long time since i'd be done at around 11:30 (or maybe a little earlier) and the ceremony is 6 hours later! but we are doing the same - pics before its too dark outside....i think we are starting around 9 am - i have myself, 3 girls, and moms so 6 for hair and 5 for make up (my moms doing her own make up)

yeah unfortunately it does take time. There were only 3 of us at my house who had hair and make up done and we started at 10am and left my house a little before 2pm to go downstairs and wait for limos to show up at 2pm. So yeah does take quite some time. It will take one hour for your hair and one hour for your make up and thats just you, so if you have that many people it will take quite a few hours. Also will depend on what the bm's do to their hair. Some can take 30 mins but for many it can also take them an hour. Its good bc while one gets hair the other can get make up but still. For 3 of us it took about 3-4 hours so for that many of you i think you need that time.

I had 5 bridesmaids and two moms and myself getting hair and makeup. They came at 4:30AM in order to finish me by 9AM. Hope that helps. It was only one makeup person and one hair stylist.

That seems about right. I left for pictures at 3 p.m. and they came at 9:30.

My ceremony started at 3:30 pm and our reception started at 7:30pm. I had my hair done at 10am and my makeup around 1pm. My makeup lasted all night and so did my hair. I sprayed my hair with Aquanet before putting on my veil to keep it in place as an extra precaution. I reapplied blush, powder, and lipstick through out the day and evening so I stayed 'fresh' looking.
