married girls - question about seating/place cards
how soon before your wedding were you able to finalize your seating arrangements and make your place cards?
i feel like we're still moving people around and changing our guest list and stuff and if people cancel last minute that will change things too!

i wonder this too... we actually think we are final, but i would hate to print them all and have to re-do it

Re: married girls - question about seating/place cards
Once we finalized our list I figured out the seating arrangements. I figured anyone who RSVPd No I could just remove from the table. I didn't need the added stress of figuring out all of the seating at the very end.
I ordered the escort cards 2 weeks before the wedding.

Re: married girls - question about seating/place cards
We had to give the RH the cards three days before the wedding and if there were any seating changes the day of the wedding I just had my DOC talk to the Maitre D' and they took care of the rest.
Re: married girls - question about seating/place cards
I gave CHCC my seating cards on March 21..but I also made my appt with them earlier than the deadline b/c that's all we had available. I had all my rspvs by then.

Re: married girls - question about seating/place cards
As soon as we had our final count, which was about 4 weeks before, I did the seating arrangements. Then dropped off the cards to the calligrapher the week before.

Re: married girls - question about seating/place cards
We are getting place cards that go in small envelopes....so - the name of the person/couple goes on the outside of the envelope and the table number goes in a card on the inside of the envelope. The envelopes dont seal shut, so they stand upright resting on the flap of the envelope cover (does that make sense?) So - we can change tables up til the day of the wedding without having to recalligrapher them...

I'm going to do it as soon as everyone responds, because I feel like the seating chart is going to be a horror.

Re: married girls - question about seating/place cards
I did the seating arrangements in an hour or so about three weeks before.
I gave my final count with seating arrangements to the hall about a week before.
I finished the escort cards about 3 days before the wedding.
