Married Girls- Qustion about changing name on Drivers License and Registration
For those of you that are married, do you know if you have to change your name on your registration at the same time that you go for your license? The reason I ask is because my name is on both of our car registrations and I don't want to take the registration out of DH's car tomorrow if I go to the DMV since he will still need his car to use during the day. Anybody know if this has to be done at the same time, or can I go back to do this? Or does it have to be done at all? Thanks!!!

you don't have to change both at the same time but you will need to make another trip to the DMV bc it's not one of those things you can do by mail.
When I went I didn't realize I needed my car title so I just changed my name on my license, I'll take care of the registration when it's about to expire...why pay twice ya know!!
