I want to change my last name to be the same as DH. Does anyone have a list or a good website that tells you exactly what needs to be done? I think I saw a name changing kit on theknot, but can't imagine what is in it that makes it worth paying for. TIA!

Don't buy it! I did for 30 bucks and it was pointless. So far I've changed my driver's liscense and social security card. Just go to any DMV and ask for a change of status form- I think it's 15 bucks. You do need your marriage liscence and SS card. For your SS card just go to a SS office. Just call ahead to make sure they do name changes because I went to one in Queens to find out they don't do it-bummer. HTH
