Married ladies, how long did it take you to finish your thank yous?
How many guests did you have? Did FH help you with the thank yous?

We had about 130 guests. Just sent out our thank you's this week. I wrote them out and DH stuffed and stamped. Did it over two nights.

I didnt even pick my pic yet. im so behind We have been married 61 days.. We have about 80 to do. I dont think my hubby will help. Plus his writting isnt to good. Mine stinks but his is worse.. Id say within 3.5 months mine will be done. Ill have him put the stamps and return address labels on.. :) Gotta get him to do something .lol

It took me about 3 months to send out my thank yous...I had them in a box for a good...2 months collecting dust.....I had about 108 guests...but I sent out about 60 thank yous...DH helped me stuff them and put the address labels..

I'm so bad. I have them sitting on my coffee table for the past 2 weeks and I only wrote out a few so far. I really need to get them out soon, it's been almost 5 months! My husband is doing the ones for his side of the family & his friends, so that makes it a little easier on me. My goal is to get them mailed out before 08 is here.

we had 120 guests, i worte all of them myself filling up everyones thank you card. I felt they gave to use they deserve more then just a thanks for the generous gift, and i had 90 to write..... I'm physco!! i wrote all of them except 3 in one day!!! I had to get them out before christmas cards so, i just did it! my hand hurt for like 2 weeks!
for the record DH signed his name to all the cards as I left him to do, but he SIGNED his name as if he were signing a credit card reciept!!!! so no one can read his damn name, I could have killed him!!!!
He's like-you told me to sign my name on all of them!

I have yet to send mine - they are all written, but I am trying to get a picture of EVERYONE at the wedding and put a picture of themselves at the wedding in the card instead of using a picture of us. And we got a few pics of us to put in the cards of people who sent a gift but couldn't make it. So as soon as the pics get here I will mail them.

i had about 165 guests, plus many gifts from OOT that did not attend the wedding. We sent about 100 thank you notes and pictures. I did them ALL and it took about 2 weeks. I had them out about 6 weeks after the wedding.

my husband didnt help. all together we have 200 guests and i hhad i think 115 tys to do
i had them sent out by the 3 month anniversary mark. that was my deadline. it took awhile to get going with the TY cards since we had to wait till we got our proofs and then pic out our pictures, then get printed. i bought the stamps before hand and i think i did like 10 or so a night. i was very detailed in my TY cards though and even more detailed in my TY for those who were close to us and to our wedding party

I did diy cards. had to affix pic to card and then pasted a 'sentiment' inside. Wrote something to everybody too. Did a few a day and I think I finished them in about 2 weeks once I started. Also went to cvs and got prints made for each couple of themselves to include. DH wrote something on maybe 12 or so for the folks he invited. we did about 55 cards.

Thank You. I thought I was the only bad July bride. i haven't sent mine out yet either. About 3/4 of them have been done for 1-2 months...I was just lazy in choosing a picture... My goal is to get them done before 08 too.
I figure just get them out...it is too late to regret not getting them out sooner.

2 weeks. We had plenty to do. Frankly, I don't care what wedding ettiquette says, one year is way too long and unacceptable for a thank you note. The max I would consider is 2 months. You can do ten a night for a couple of weeks and get them over with. We had 159 guests and had more than half of that to write.

I plan to get them out ASAP....I always felt that it was rude for people to keep their guests waiting for months for a thank you.....I understand that many people are delayed because of the photographer, that's one thing.....but to just be lazy and wait 6-7 months is not so nice JMO
