Married ladies, how long did it take you to finish your thank yous?

How many guests did you have? Did FH help you with the thank yous?

I sent them out exactly 5 months after we were married . . We had 136 guests. DH did not write any TYs. I had a snow day so I wrote them then. The only ones he has to write is to his parents and brothers and he has yet to do so.

We've been married for a month, but haven't received all of our proofs yet.
Our thank you will be a video, so it'll take longer to create.

For gifts received before the wedding, within two weeks.

For gifts received at the wedding, four months. The first half was done in a month, but we lamed out and didn't do the second half till four months after. We had about 160 guests at the wedding, although a lot of the gifts received before the wedding were from folks who couldn't attend. DH helped with the first half.

FTR, the previous poster who said that one doesn't have a year to send TYs out was right. Emily Post says one has up to three months after (for gifts received around the wedding) to send them out. So, shame on me.

Guests have up to a year to send the gift. That's probably where the confusion arose.
