married ladies i need hair and MU help

ladies. did any of you get ur hair done at a salon but ur make up done at home? how did u organize everything.

if ur wedding is at 3pm how did u time everything?

My wedding was at 1pm and my make up artist came at 8am. My hair was started at 8:30. To be honest I felt rushed, but my BP was small (4 girls) I wish I started everythihng an hour earlier and then I wouldn't have felt so rushed. I think that 8am is a good time to start for 3pm just to make sure that you are on schedule even early. But it also depends how many girls you have in your BP and if they are all getting hair and makrup done with the same people that you are using.

There are some salons that do both hair and makeup but I've noticed from my experience that they don't open up until 9am. Maybe you can call the places in your area to see if they offer services in your home or if your at a hotel that you may be getting ready in. Definitely do your trials ASAP because you only have 5 months. I regret getting my hair trial done only a week before the wedding. But it was a family member who was doing it and I mistakenly put all my eggs in that basket.

she came to me with an assistant at 8am (we had to be ready for 12) - i think we had 7 or 8 girls

I got married at 3 pm as well, my photographer came to the house at 12:30, I had my hair and make up done plus 5 bridesmaids, hair started at 9, makeup started at 9:30, we were all done by 1 took pictures at my house then left for the church At 2:30
