You need to go to SS first and bring your original certificate with you...then go to motor vehicle with the original and change that then passport cause you have to mail the original to them and they send it back...then credit cards.
Change you social security card first after that there is no real formula. Most credit cards and utilities can be done over the phone some utilities may require you to fax a copy of your marriage certificate. Motor vechicles was the most annoying for me b/c of the wait but other then standing in line it was straight forward. I would recommend going once to change your driver's licence, registration and title. Oh and fill out the forms before you get there you can get them from the DMV website. Most banks require you go in person but all the make you do is show you marriage certificate and sign a new signature card. I still have not changed my passport but you have to mail in the marriage certificate so I would do this last unless you need to travel under your married name soon.
