Did you feel regretful about it after the fact?? My main concern is for the fun factor during announcements, and then the video. Am I being crazy??
Without getting into too much detail, I am only having my sis .
There are three other girls I would have loved to have, but not without opening a can of worms.

Re: Married ladies that did not have a BP??
I'm obviously not married yet but two friends that had no bridal party recommended me to do the same...said its so much easier. They were both jewish and we don't do introductions anyways....no loss there.
I think in a lot of ways, its a lot easier (and cheaper).
That being said, I am having a bridal party b/c FH wanted one.

Re: Married ladies that did not have a BP??
I only had my best friend as my MOH and my SIL -- just two girls. I asked one other girl but she couldn't because of an international move that happened before the wedding and made it way too expensive for her to come back for the wedding.
I have to say, it's probably the only thing I regret. I wish I'd asked another very close friend from college, or maybe my two cousins. It just would've been a lot of fun to have more people dressed in the beautiful BM dresses I chose and I think it would've felt just a tiny bit more cohesive that day.
I'm trying to convince a friend who recently got engaged about this (without making her think I want to be IN the BP... although I would lol).
You don't want to cause yourself more drama, though, so weigh your options and write a pro-con list and see what makes most sense for you. For me, just the two girls made most sense.
I'm not married yet but I'm not having a bp. I don't see any reason why I will ever regret it. Your good friends will still throw you a bachelorette party and will still have fun at your wedding. They will probably have more fun b/c they are wearing what they want to wear and didn't spend the whole day traveling around.

Re: Married ladies that did not have a BP??
I had only a MOH and a bm and it was great!!!!!!! I dont like drama and it was soo easy to deal with less people. If you only want to have 2 ppl do what you want...dont think about what ifs cause there is always a different way to do things. You only get married once and it should be the happiest day of your life and if having less ppl will make you happy then do it.

Re: Married ladies that did not have a BP??
I have my future step daughters as MOH and FH is having his two nephews as best man/ring bearer.
SO much easier..the boys don't care about what to wear...My FSDs picked out great dresses and agreed to colors.
Easy peasy and I think the portraits will be cute!

Re: Married ladies that did not have a BP??
I am only having a MOH and 1 BM. We wanted an introduction too so I asked my close girlfriends to be a part of the entrance and I made them ribbon wands for it. I didn't want to be in charge of people and organize more things than necessary for the wedding. Anyone that I would want in a bridal party is going to be at the wedding anyway....

Re: Married ladies that did not have a BP??
when my brother got married, he only had his 2 best friends and SIL had only her sister. They said that was what worked best for them. They were on a tight budget (paying for the entire wedding themselves) and you have to think, the more BP members you have, the more expensive it can get. That extra bouquets, extra bouts, extra gifts that you have to buy and when you are on a tight budget, it just doesn't seem logical. I don't think either one of them regret their decision one bit.
Side note: at the time, I was PISSED that I was not going to be in my brother's wedding, but now that I am planning my own wedding and we are paying for it by ourselves, I totally understand now. Thank god I was never actually vocal about how angry I was!
