Married Ladies...How many guests...

that rsvp'ed 'yes' ended up not showing up?

3 - but 2 of them were husbands/wifes of people that showed up but the other spouse couldnt come.

I didnt have anyone not show up the day of the wedding, but I had 4 people cancel the week before, after I had paid it off.

5 all together but I gave a final head count of 5 less so it worked out perfect.

out of 350 people who said yes, only 3 were no shows.... pretty good, I was so worried beforehand!

about 8 -

1-one couple just had a baby
2-one couple the husbands dad went into the hospital and they couldn't fly in
3-one guy fell off a latter and hurt his shoulder
4-another couple's baby got sick so mom stayed home
5-and the last couple we weren't expecting to show because she's 'forgotten' everything else so far. we were actually kinda glad they didn't come.

out of all the above numbers 1,2, and 3 let me know before the final payment (the week before the wedding) so i didn't pay for them. number 4 was a surprise but completely understandable and her husband came up to us an apologized at the wedding. number 5 we weren't counting on so i never included them in the final count, but i never heard anything from them and still haven't.

I had 10 cancellations. . .

4 just didn't show
and the rest called us up to cancel, but we had already paid for them.

I think it was 4-2 couples...it might have been 6-3 couples tho

Thanks for this post...I might end up giving my RH less than my actual headcount because of this...ugh I am getting scared !!!!!

We were lucky, we actually didn't have any 'no shows'. We did have people who rsvp'd and then call the week before to cancel though. Just a couple...so it wasn't horrible.
