Thanks for this post...I might end up giving my RH less than my actual headcount because of this...ugh I am getting scared !!!!! (How dare they LOL !!!!)!!!
unless youre over your minimum then you dont have to worry.
For example if your minimum is 200, even if you give the RH a lower headcount just in case, you will still get charged for 200 ppl so giving them a count of 5 less ppl wont make a difference in price if its still under 200...now if youre over 200 then that would be different

2 couples. and I feel so bad for 1 set - - couple in their 80's. man so eager to come - - even bought a new suit. he wasn't there - - ooh what happened, they are old . . .
wife got confused and told him it was the NEXT weekend. was he mad!!
other couple just plain stupid. had a sick grandmother and instead of telling me this and she might get worse, we got yeah sure we'll be there. she got worse and we got call day before after we paid. oh well.

All who said 'yes' attended, although some had to leave early due to illness. One adult was ill, as was one kid, and his mother left with him.

They all called in advance, but we had already given our final count and had to pay for them anyway.

4...two of them I know had a little baby that was being fussy, so they came to church and didn't show for the reception. The other two were completely MIA.
