FHs name is easier to pronounce than mine, but i hate that i'm going to be mrs. b and both me and my FSIL both still call our MIL Mrs. B.....hello that'll be my name too!!! cant i just call her by her first name already????? so annoying

debating between doing
first name, middle name, FH's last name first name, maiden name, FH's last name
I have 'tragic' initials which I could easily get rid of by taking FH's name, but I have a very unique last name --- im pretty much related to all of the 15 other people on facebook with my name. there are about 300 people on facebook with my first name/FH's last name combo.
Also, Mrs. FH's last name really does not feel like me... that's his mom!

has she ever offered for you to call her mom or by her first name?
I call my FMIL Momma lolll and My last name believe it or not ladies is 13 letters loll--- my initials are CG now and will be CI and his last name is only 7 letters-- so I think it'll be a nice change deff taking his name--

FH's brother was dating a girl with the same first name as me (they have since broken up, but they were very serious). they def needed to break up for a lot of reasons but a little part of me was relieved bc i didnt want to have the same first/last name as her...

I too was bitten by the curiosity bug and checked out your first name. Not as bad as Julia Gulia! But I can see how you might get a few 'huh?'s along the way. Oh, the things we do for love!!!

My father was adopted by his stepfather when he was young, so he went from having a Spanish last name (and being 100% Puerto Rican) to having an Asian last name. I am 1/2 Puerto Rican, 1/4 Russian, and 1/4 Polish and have been stuck explaining why I am not Chinese my entire life. To make matters worse, I don't even like that grandpa. No matter what the last name was, I was taking it. It just works out that it doesn't sound too bad.

It's been a running joke since we started dating - in fact the friends that set up us said the idea started with... how funny would it be if they got together... and then they thought - wait, they'd be really good together - and it went from there... he LOVES it. He thinks it's hysterical. I kinda do too.

I'm taking his, eventhough his is very boring and ordinary compared to mine. I think I will end up missing having my last name misspelled and mispronounced which always happens now and will never happen when I take his name.
