Married on a Cruise??

I don't know anyone, but that is a neat idea. We were looking into boats to charter. If your having an samll intimate wedding, it's a great idea.

Married on a Cruise??

This is what I REALLY wanted to do for my wedding, however, my fiance was not happy about it. I have a VERY small family and wanted to get married on the 'honeymoon'. My fiance's family is very large and traditional. I guess I am completely untraditional. We are having our wedding on Long Island, which I'm sure will be beautiful, but this sounds so cool to me.
I knew the Miller Place Inn was 'it' for me but after reading your post, I'm certain my wedding will be fantastic!!! Good Luck!!

I'm going but I can't remember what time I told them! I think I said 3:00. I'm looking forward to it since it will be my first look at flowers.

Married on a Cruise??

I read an article a few weeks ago that said you can get married on a cruise ship while it is docked and have a reception for 50ppl on board. They provide all the food as well as the officiant and the photographer & music for under $5000 provided you book a honeymoon package with them. I think it was Carnival cruise line. I found it by searching for weddings under $5000. Give it a try of try calling a few cruise lines to see if they do do this.

Married on a Cruise??

We went on a Carnival Cruise last year and saw a wedding on the boat. Everyone was having so much fun. We are already booked at a catering hall, though, b/c my fiance probably has about 50 people in his immediate family alone! Are you still considering the cruise option?

IT'S RIGHT IN TIMES SQUARE AND I THINK IT'S BETWEEN 42 AND 43. I REMEBER SEEING IT ACROSS THE STREET WHEN I CAME OUT OF THE BROADWAY ENTRANCE TO THE WARNER BROS. STORE.

Married on a Cruise??

Royal Carribbean has this new boat that has an ice skating rink, rock climbing course, mini golf course, etc.!!! Can you believe that! My fiance and I are actually going on a cruise this November on Carnival to Aruba. I only hope that I have enough money left for our honeymoon. We booked the cruise WAY before we got engaged. I would really love to go away for 2 weeks next year.

I have a similar problem. My wedding is 2/17/01. Do you think I should mail my invitations before the holiday (and chance getting mixed up with holiday cards ) , or wait until after the holiday ? ANY SUGGESTIONS ???
I still have 605 days to go-AAGH!!
