MARRIED SUMMER BRIDES - hair question! with poll

Those who were married during the summer... Did you wear your hair down? If so, did you wish it was up because of the heat? I love the way hair looks down, or half up, but i feel like it might be too much in the summer sun. any regrets, summer brides?

i originally wanted my hair 1/2 up 1/2 down but the day of my wedding it was about 90 and humid and i was sweating just getting dressed! so my hair stylist helped me make an executive decision to wear it up but still flowy. pics in my album if you wanna see.

you looked stunning!!!! did the curls stay all night/day regardless of the humidity?

i wore it all up-- nothing hanging down-- and it was great-- i didnt have to worry about anything-- b/c i knew with the heat and humidity, my hair would suffer -- ( i have naturally curly hair).

my hair was done at 830 am-- and stayed in til i took it down at 4:30 the next morning... and I only had about 10 pins in it to boot!!

i was glad i wore it up... my hair is really thick, so curls don't hold up well as it is... let alone with summer heat and humidity. plus, it was just nice to have it out of my way the whole day

I plan on getting married in the summer and want my hair mostly down. Maybe itll be a little uncomfortable but im willing to sacrifice it b/c i want to look my best.

i wore mine half up and i have a LOT of hair- long past my bra strap and thick. - it is also curly.

I LOVED it.. I was married July 2, and the weather was 86 degrees. my hair stayed gorgeous and i wasnt hot..

I was just so excited, that i didnt think to be hot.

I have very thick hair too but did 1/2 up 1/2 down and didn't have a problem.

But it topped out at 82 the day of my wedding, because it was early June. So it was fine.

I'm very happy I wore it up. My hair is naturally curly and would have frizzed had I wore it down. Plus it was out of my way while dancing too.

Same here!

I'm jealous of the ladies who look so nice with their hair up. I look ridiculous with my hair all up because my face is so round!

I'll be wearing it down. It's how it looks best and also how I'll be most comfortable.

I wore it down.
Its just how I always wear it and it was important for me to look like 'me' on the wedding day since thats why DH fell in love with me! Im me! LOL

No it wasn't hot. July 7, 2006 was 80 degrees, sunny, and no humidity, so my hair did just fine. You'll get hot from time to time, but nothing unbearable. but then again it depends on the month . . . .
you're july too...see how the weather is a few weeks before that, like the humidity....and feel out the weather!
