Hi! Is anyone planning a wedding in Riverhead? I'm having a difficult time finding a wedding Officiant, Town Clerk, Judge or someone with the authority to perform the ceremony for a reasonable cost ($100.00?). We're planning on having a very short ceremony... Any input?
I couldn't find anyone either... I'm hoping my FFIL will be able to get ordained and do it for us instead of a stranger.
I thought about that as well.... I wonder what they'd need to do? Our ceremony will literally take about 20 minutes max :) Keep me posted.
I will let you know. I'm gonna try to call the county clerks office on monday and see what they say.
That would be great! I did learn that the Town Clerk can marry you, but you have to use one within the township where you're getting married. I was planning on calling as well, I'll also let you know how I make out. Thanks
