Marthas Vineyard and Surrounding New England destinations????
FH and I are going to Marthas Vineyard for our HM but only for about 4 days, we wanted to a do like a day-here/day-there type of thing after that. Does anyone have any ideas of what we can do or where to go? We were thinking Cape Cod, Boston, etc... Please help!

well in marthas vineyard i can tell you what to do, since i went there. Horse back riding, duo plane you and fh can ride on, whale watching but only depends when you go lol. Great seafood restaurants...i know theres more activities
boston has alot of great restaurants and attractions to see

nantucket is a 45 minute boat ride from MV... i ACK~! or there is Block island off the coast of Rhode Island which is nice too ( quite not much to do)

It might be a few hours drive, but Acadia National Park in Maine is wonderful. Tons to do there.

Have you spent time in Boston before?
MV for fours days is going to beauitful, but pretty much are going to see the same things on the cape....pretty beaches. It could be a nice change of pace to go visit Boston afterwards. It's so nice and relaxed in Boston over the summer. I lived/went to school there for a long time. The college kids leave, baseball is in full swing. Might be a nice end to your honeymoon!

That def a good idea. A comedy club in Boston was an idea we were throwing around....we also want to see if we can see blue man group.

on our trip to cape cod (which is a boat ride away from mv), we spent a a couple of days at cape cod, a day at nantucket, drove to plymouth and did sightseeing/touristy things there, drove to boston the same day, and spent a day in boston.
