I went there a few years back. Although it was only for a day, it was enough to show me NEVER to go back there. The french people we ran into we SO RUDE to Americans. They refused to take American money, and this was by a major port mind you. Maybe i was just in a bad part but i would never go back there again.

I went to the Club Med there a few years ago and had a fabulous time! Granted the only Americans were the ones who came over on our plane. everyone else was was French or German. We kind of just stayed with our group and enjoyed the beach and the activities.
