Mass Cards

Mass Cards

Our close friends Grandfather past away yesterday, we are going to the wake tonight. My mom told me I should give a mass card, so she got one out for me and I filled it out and will send out the donation.

We are not at all religious - So I fell a bit weird about giving a mass card. I rather give a donation to a health cause (American lung, cancer) or an animal cause (USPCA or PETA).

My question is do these type of charity's have cards available to let please know that a donation was made in there name?

if the family is religious then a mass card is appropriate

But, all of the main charities have cards for donations

I don't know about charity cards, but even if you're not religious, you can still give a mass card.

And if not you can get a sympathy card and just put in it that in honor of your friend's grandparent you'll make a donation to XYZ charity.

Most funeral homes sell the mass cards and provide envelopes to charities.

At my place we have a supply of envelopes that are provided by whatever charity you might want..... they do offer a place on the envelope when you fill it out for an acknowledgement to the family. Most other funeral homes should have these as well.
