i am trying to save money and create my own programs. i went to michaels and bought the regular stock paper they had that is basically a 8 x 11 piece of paper that you can fold in half.
Sounds simple right? wrong! maybe i'm stupid but i am so frustrated right now and am on the verge of tears!
i only have microsoft word onmy computer. i switched the page on word from portrait to landscape. i played around with the first page (front cover) to make it look how i want. every time i click on print preview, everything is all over the place and not anywhere near where it is supposed to be! WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm this close to not doing programs at all and returning the paper to Michaels.
Can someone please help me?

Did you set the page up in Word to be in two columns? That will fix the margins.
Wait, I dont know if that will fix the problem. I read it quickly and thought you were doing menus. I think columns will still help you. It seems complicated though because you want something on the inside and outside of the program right?

You don't want the paper landscape though? I'd think you'd want it portrait, so it was vertically oriented... so the long sides of the paper run up and down, right? If you want to send me the file at [email protected] I could look at it for you? I can't promise I'll be a huge help, but maybe

i am sitting here at work doing nothing if you're open to sending it over maybe i can play with it a little?? what version of word do you have? i made mine here at work and when i got home to print on my home computer i had to tweek a little but i did my invites and rsvp card in word which were odd sizes so maybe i can help??

I'm sure you could also find a template on Microsoft.com to download so you don't have to do the formatting yourself.

I'ce downloaded templates to word before... word is part of the Microsoft office suite?

you need to remove your margins all together and then do 2 columns...this should make the left side of the page the 1st column and the right side the 2nd column
