FH and I have to go out to Mastic Beach on Saturday morning. I have no idea exactly where that is and what is around there but we want to do something fun afterwards. Is there anything around there we can do for the afternoon? Thanks.

Mastic Beach is off exit 68 of the LIE...You go all the way south and that should be Mastic Beach..
Sorry i don't know the area at all but it isn't all that far from the Hamptons

You could go sky diving... From what I know Mastic Beach doesnt have many fun things to do beside some shopping. And of course the beach.

There is also a park/beach at the very end of William Floyd Pkwy. (which is exit 68 on the LIE or exit 58 off of Sunrise if you are a south shore person). I thinkit is Smith Point park. Also, just north of Sunrise Hwy on the same road is Southhaven County Park Phone: (631) 854-1414... lots to do there... horseback riding, rowboats ect!! We have had family reunions there & spent lots of time there as kids!!
