Maternity Clothing

Hello! My FSIL is pregnant and her bday is coming up. She said she'd like some maternity clothes. Who makes the best maternity clothing?

TIA!

Re: Maternity Clothing

Define 'best.'

I did all my maternity shopping at Old Navy and Motherhood. They had good basic clothing at the lowest prices.

A Pea in the Pod has more designer styles -- but it will cost about 3x as much for each outfit, so you won't be able to buy as much. Of course that makes for a more special gift I guess, since she'd probably never buy it herself.

Re: Maternity Clothing

I got most of my maternity at Old Navy. They are cute, stylish and inexpensive. I didn't plan on invesiting in good clothes to wear over again so I stocked up on Old navy t's, capri pants, etc. ALso, Motherhood and Mimi Maternity do not allow returns, only exchanges and you only have 14 days. It is really annoying. So considering this is a gift, I'd definately recommend Old Navy over Motherhood.

Thanks for the info! I wanted to get her something stylish and that was good quality. She wouldn't spend a lot on herself, so I figured A Pea in the Pod might be a good place to start.

Maybe I'll check out Old Navy too.

Theres a stoer on 110 called Destination maternity that has a mix of motherhood, a pea in the pod and mimi maternity. I got a GC there and really appreciated it.

H&M has a line of maternity clothes now too. They look pretty cute, but I'm sure the quality isn't top notch.
