Ok-- some of you may have seen my post from yesterday, but my MOH just told me she is pregnant and due the same week of my wedding.. thus problems are created..
Do we get her a BM dress?? The place where I am most liklely ordering BM dresses from makes maternity dresses with a 5 to 6 week lead time- so, we will wait to order them until like Jan or so.. I guess this gives us time to think about it more. Either she will still be pregnant, or recently given birth and able to be out and about. It's more for pictures, etc. as she may not be able to walk down the aisle- depending on her state, if she is even able to attend.
She has assured me she will be at anything and everything if she is able to-- and I think she is still planning on being a full-fledged MOH and would not consider stepping down. Do we just proceed as planned, just with a wardrobe change???
What do you think??

Re: Maternity MOH Dress??
I went through the same situation with my sister who was to be my MOH. She is due 3 days after the wedding. After many many long discussions we decided it'd be best for her to pass on her role as MOH and instead be an 'honored guest' - I'll have a corsage for her and a special seat.
This was the best option for us since you never know when someone is going to go into labor. (Only 4% of women have their baby on their due date.) We weren't sure if we should get her a regular dress or maternity one or even if she'd be able to attend for that matter. All the 'what ifs' were too stressful on all of us so I really feel we made the right decision, as much as I wish she could be my MOH.
