MATRIX WAS ....

Yeah, the dance scene was kind of weird. And there was a little too many love scenes in this for an action movie.

Anyone who's planning on seeing this one, if you wait for all of the credits, there's a preview for the next one at the end. It looks so cool.

I will still wait till DVD I can barely get comfortable in my own living room let alone a movie theatre

I saw it last night also and it was awesome!!! I did find the dance scene also weird and didn't understand why they needed it. Other than that I loved all the action scenes, Keanu Reeves kicks A$$.

Did you guys stayed to the very end of the credits to see the previews for Part 3? It sooks so awesome.

If you could explain the 1st one to me, then I might be enthused to go see this one. What is the whole meaning behind this movie

i thought the dance scene was strange to!! and when he was talking to the grey haird man in the room with all the TVs, i had no idea what the hell he was talking about!

The plot of the first movie is that humans created machines that began to take over the world...humans thought that they could cut off the machines power supply (the sun) and they scorched the sky...but the machines found that they could use humans for power...so they 'grew' them...to provide energy...and hooked them up to a computer 'the matrix' that put them into a dreamlike state (the world we live in today)...so in reality...this is not the real world...but a computer program that machines have programmed us to believe...

In the 'real' world (the one that machines have taken over)...the machines are fighting with humans who have disconnected themselves with the matrix...they need to find 'the one' that can win this war...destroy the machines...and release the humans from being 'batteries'

I hope that this is understandable

I thought it was fantastic...although it did start a little slow...the dance scene...but I think they did that to go with the love scene...and my guess is that they needed that so that trinity can be PG

so what do you think about the oracle? shes really a computer program...and NOT good...she set neo up...she wants the matrix to be reloaded...

and what will happen with A. Smith, who took over that one guys body?


I am so mad at DH...I always want to stay for the credits...but he always needs to leave right away...he'll be kicking himself this time...

I was so disappointed!! That whole movie was entirely too long without enough story to warrant $9.50. Im sure the 3rd one will wrap it up nicely but I think:

a) The ending was a complete cop out.
b) The fight scenes were all too long
c) When they had to use animation, they should have cut that part out b/c it looked like a cartoon!
d) Gratiutious orgy scene was so stupid, everyone in the theartre was laughing

I wish I could have enjoyed it b/c I loved hte first one.

I was disappointed - while the action scenes were kick a$$ (when there *finally* was some action) the story line fell short. And seriously, what was UP with that 5 min American Bandstand of the Future??? Blech.

And darnit, we didn't stay till the end to see the previews.

see... i thought the story was great...the whole idea that the oracle 'finds' neo b.c he is the one to reload the program - NOT to win the war, but to stop the war, by restarting the matrix...and they (the machines) can start over...and fix their mistakes
