FH's grandfather has offered to buy us our mattress and box spring as our wedding present. He is up from Florida and wants to buy it within the next week. But...

How do you pick out a mattress? What are some of your experiences ladies???

OMG we bought a TempurPredic and it is AMAZING!!!! I have back problems and I have been sleeping better than I ever have. It's a little pricey but well worth it. We bought it over a year ago and the form never changed. I highly recommend it.

we got ours from Macy's and got an UNBELIEVABLE deal. simmons beauty rest BANCROFT PILLOWTOP!!! we literally *sigh* in comfort every time we lay down on it.

We recently bought a pillowtop queen size mattress from Rockaway Bedding. I'm pretty sure it is a Sealy, but I have to double check (it's at FH's house). We love it. He used to have so many back problems and he feels so much better now. I didn't feel comfortable on the tempurpedic, so we compromised on a pillowtop.

we actually just bought our mattress 2 days ago... We went to Sleepy's and bought a Miralux mattress. DO NOT pay what the ticket says.... our mattress and box spring was $2500+tax+delivery, but we actually paid $2k total- delivery, tax, & box spring included.

We bought a Select Comfort mattress about a year and a half ago, (you know, the sleep number bed) and it has seriously changed the way we sleep its THAT comfortable. Theyre very expensive but completely worth the money to us. Good luck shopping!!

We actually just bought a mattress too! it hasn't been delivered yet but I can't wait. It's a King Size Vera Wang pillowtop. I didn't want to leave the store!! we got it at The Great Indoors, I had never heard of the store before but they had a sale on matresses that ended the day we were there it was 50% off so we wound up paying aroud 2000. We could never have afforded it at full price!
