Are there any differences between the Four Season, Grand Wailea, Fairmont and Hyatt?

My friend stayed at Grand Wailea and said it was the most amazing....I haven't actually been there so I was just asking whatyou think.

I'm staying at the four seasons, and i've heard nothing but amazing things. My friend recommended the grand wailea, but that jumped my hm price like 1200 - i opted for no. My sister stayed at the hyatt in maui and said it was alright, nothing like the hyatt in kaui.

I'm going in 2 weeks, so i'll post a review when i get back.....but as far as hear say, grand wailea is supposed to be 'the best' hotel, but very pricey..hope this helps!

In my opinion, the Four Seasons is the BEST! We spent our honeymoon there, and I'm so glad we chose it over the other 2. I'm a big fan of peace and quiet, and the Grand Wailea and the Kea Lani were just too big & busy. I'm not saying they're not nice, but I prefer the laid back tranquility of the Four Seasons. Stay on the club level if you can...they treat you like royalty, there are 4 or 5 food presentations a day and cocktails are included! (Our concierge would send us off to the pool with a huge to-go Mimosa each morning!) LOVED IT!

Those were the 3 hotels we were considering also. (also in there is the Hyatt), heard all 3 are nice but it depeds on what you are looking for. I heard Grand Wailea is beautiful, but filled with lots of kids and always very crowded. Kea lani i heard is great also. But we are leaning more toward the Four seasons. Heard it was amzing and great for honeymoners. I also personally know 3 couples who went and said they loved it so much. hope this helps. You sound like i do!
