Maui Honeymooners?....

Maui Honeymooners?....

Where did you stay or are you staying? What are the key features? (beachfront, pool, restaurants, etc).

FH and I think we are going to HM in Maui - and just wondering what are some good resorts?

Ive stayed at the Hyatt and at the Ritz. Both are really nice. Hyatt has a better location, the Ritz has a better staff/service, both rooms are just okay with the Ritz being a tad nicer in the bathroom. All things being equal, I'd probably choose the Hyatt over the Ritz b/c you have to drive to everything and the Hyatt is closer.

We stayed at Westin Kaanapali Resort Villas. It was right on the beach with incredible scuba diving and great restaurants.

In Maui we are going to stay at the Four Seasons and the Hotel Hanna Maui in Hanna

We stayed at the Hyatt on Maui. I didn't visit any other resorts so I can't give an opinion on which is better, but we thought the Hyatt was amazing! The pool was our favorite part, not to mention the pool slide that DH spent most of his day on I loved that we could walk to so many places from there.

We will be staying at the Grand Wailea..its beautiful!!! The restaurants/spas are supposed to be amazing...here are a few pics. Can you tell i'm excited???

That looks FABULOUS! I am totally wanting a resort with good restaurants too - cause i know some days (after a long day at the beach) I will want to stay at the resort to eat!

We stayed at the Faremont in Walea and it was GEORGOUS! Every room is a suite. It is in walking distance to the Four Seasons and the Grand Walea so there are plenty of shops and restaurants near by!
