If my room holds max of 150 ppl. How many ppl should i invite?

Winter garden.... Max it holds is 150 i would prefer 130 lol. But cant be more than 150.

When they say max, I find that number still makes the room feel tight. I usually go under by about 10. So invite 165-170?

this is the only part of the wedding im stressing over. our max for room is 200 and min is 150. we have 211 on list. i do not want to feel to tight in there. im soooo hoping only like 165 come lol.. am i not being realistic??

Im just paranoid i know there will be ppl that say no but what if very few say no then im over the max! Lol

I invited 195 room held 190 max. I had 160

If you stuck with 165, you should be fine. If everyone is from nearby, I'd figure a 10% no rate. Mostly OOT and go with 20%.
That would give you an estimated number of attendees somewhere between 132 and 149

What is your min? What can you & your FH afford? A good rule of thumb is 20% of your guest list will not be able to attend... If you want to have 150 guest, invite 20% more than 150, if your min is 100 and that's all you want invite 20% more than 100... t's up to you & your fiance

I think my final invited count was 139 and we are having 130. Barely any no's. My advice is invite less then the room holds by 5 or so.and have a b list. Every no you get - send a new invite.
