Hi coralmali! Hey, another New Jersey person, yeah! We are going to be looking in the Bergen County area in the spring. We will probably rent for awhile and then eventually buy something. How about you?

How is everybody doing with their planning? Right now I'm just trying to get ideas with dresses, which for me is one of the most fun things about this wedding planning stuff. Any updates?

Im going to book my officiant. Im getting married outside and I need to find someone. I think Im going to use Rev. Joe (hes a vendor on this site). Anyone heard about him??? Using him??

I called about LIMOS!!! I can have limos 3 1/4 hours (16 passenger)before and 6 hours (limo bus) afterwards for just under $2000. is that good????

I don't know yet Karen. I was originally going to do a light blue and silver. But I'm starting to really LOVE the dark red bridesmaid dresses.

Hi ladies! I have an appointment with Burton's tomorrw and I have an appointment with the wedding coordinator next Sat. The I will start looking into photo and video. I think I am going to register on Sunday. And I found a BM dress that I really like, I just have to ask some girls to be a BM, then we can go look.

I'd like to have something in the blues/purples colors. Muted tones though... not a bright blue or purple.
I want a very 'springy' feel. So the bouquets can be mauves/purples/blues/pinks... something along those lines.

I think I'm going with black long dresses (letting my BM's get their own) and the flowers that I saw on display when I booked my florist were gorgous. It was a mix of flowers with pink and purple roses, some orange and white thrown in. It sounds loud, but the way they arranged it was really beautiful.

im getting all nervous reading stuff in here!! i booked Patken for Photo and Video, then i read such great things about Steve, and i didnt know you were suppose to reccommend a certain photographer, and now im trying to call and get it written on the contract. was that a major mistake??

It is good to put a name down, they probably should be able to do it for you over the phone I think, depending if he is available that day.

I think the phone would be fine. Any reputible (sp?) company should be just fine with a request over the phone as long as they are available. Ask them to fax or mail you something stating that you have the person you want.

Erica: Congrats on booking Patken!! I'm a Patken bride also! Just call the person that you spoke with and I'm sure they'll have no problem putting Steve on the contract (if he's available). They're really nice there.

I booked 2 appointments for Tuesday. One DJ and one officiant. I havent told FH yet. He hates going to meet with these people. He says 'the wedding is SO far away!!!' He just doesnt get it.
